I stayed home with Meggie all day and had to be on the phone since the
sub blew up today. Meggie is usually very quiet when I am around but
Marty tells me she talks up a storm during the day. I had to go upstairs
to use the phone she was so noisy. I didn't understand all that she was
muttering and yelling but every once in awhile she would yell "comere
Marty" so loud you could hear her downtown. It was the first time I had
heard that. Then when I was upstairs very upset since the builders are
going with Phil (it is called blackmail) I hear Marty calling me like
something was wrong and demanded an answer immediately. Needless to say
I was irratated with him and yelled what do you want? He said he had not
called me. I told him I distinctly heard DIANE very plainly and it was
his voice. He laughed and said it was your Quiet bird. She has never
said my name that plainly. The terrible two's has come. She is now in
her cage with her daddy sleeping on the floor beside her.
I will be able to tell when Marty wakes up from his snooze since Meggie
will chirp and he will sneak to the kitchen and get them both some
veggie to chomp on. Last night it was grated carrots that she loved.
I give up. I don't stand a chance around here.
