| subject: | Help with NetComm and Windows 95 |
Hi all I have a NetComm SmartModem V.32 (9600) M5 - I am using Windows 95. My problem is that when I run EzyCom (my BBS software) under Windows 95 it will not initialise the modem no matter what init string I use. If I run Telix for DOS and let it init the modem I can then run EzyCom no probs. If I run EzyCom (without running Telix) in DOS mode it works fine. I believe that Win95 inits the modem in a way that won't let EzyCom use it. I used to have a Banksia Bit Blitzer 2400 and it didn't have this problem.... Any help would be VERY appreciated...
