Increasingly, people are realising that the USA *isn't* good for the world.
The USA is only good for (to) itself. To individuals looking for a better
life than the ones they have, wherever they are, the USA is a good place to
go. But to those who are quite happy where they are, the USA is a drag on
their standard of living and quality of life. They'd be better off without
the USA's disproportionate drag on the world's resources. Call it envy and
jealousy if you like - either way, it simply illustrates that you aren't as
good for the world as you say.
