Was that a new refubished machine?

If that was a fresh/brand new system, I do hope you get your money back.

Just before Christmas, I mail-ordered a new refurbished laptop: T540
Thinkpad

I wanted it with Win7-Pro and 1TB SSD.

Instead, I received one with Win10-Pro and a lighted keypad.

At first I thought "oh, a *free* lighted keypad upgrade.. cool!" But.. a
number of the keys would stick or click very loudly compared to the other
keys.

I sent it back.

A few days later, I got the SAME hardware back, but this time it had a
normal keypad (no clickyness) and Win7-Pro.
