Hi Everyone!
Just a reminder to those who will be making a block for me this month.
I picked a quick pattern - 6 1/2" unfinished pinwheel using red as one
of the colors. I have only heard from 2 people that they are sending
blocks and both have won this exchange before so I hope there are
others on the way!
My address: Shauna Charron

Pinwheel pattern: Cut 2 red squares 3 7/8" x 3 7/8" and 2 contrasting
colored squares 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
Stack the squares and cut them in half diagonally.
Pair the patches 1 red and 1 contrasting
Sew them right sides together along the longer side.
Then sew the 4 blocks together to make a pinwheel.
Will look like this: ----------
l \ l / l The blocks are sewn together so that
l \ l / l the colors are alternating - going
l___\l/___l clockwise - red, other, red, other,
l /l\ l red, other, red, other thus forming
l / l \ l the pinwheel
l/___l___\l
Hope I didn't make it seem complicated - it really is easy
Let me know if you will be sending a block
