I'm sure that'll be fun, not for the pans though..
JA> I have read figures of 100 Hz being the cut off, but
My Dad works with Car Audio and he seems to believe that
100hz is about right. Though Home Hifi is different. The Boxes
are made larger and the Cross-Overs don't have to be made to
compensate for 'shoddy' boxes.

Tell me about it. My sound system is in a small room about 8 foot
square. It is full of things to absorb sounds. I have a pair of Mission
731i's at the back and a pair of Old Goodmans PQ130 at the front. None
of which are standing up. They are all lying down with the tweerers on
the outside. All speakers are at ear level.
Inside those Goodmans, there are no specifically made Crossovers
just caps etc.. soldered onto the speaker terminals, Great. The Speakers
need to be stuffed to put a bit of pressure on the back of the cones, they
might as well be working in free air at the moment. I'm driving both pairs
of an old PROTON 520 Stere Amp, Pioneer PD5010 Cd player. Nice.
