=== Learn to write Batch files - Lessons on the Web for Newcomers ===
You can use the versatile MS-DOS Batch language in Win95/98/ME to speed
many tasks. But newcomers who want to understand its syntax, even those
with other programming skills, may find it hard to know where to begin.
We've posted thousands of Batch solutions and many new Batch methods to
alt.msdos.batch. Using our experience of what newcomers tend to ask, we
have devised an interactive Batch File Course you can study on the Web.
It's also a good Introduction to Command-line Skills for Windows users.
Like a patient, Personal Tutor, 20 one-hour Lessons guide you through a
wide range of Batch skills in a structured way. Each Lesson consists of
a logical sequence of Exercises. Interactive cues lead you step-by-step
through every Exercise while you use Batch commands in an MS-DOS window
and write Batch files yourself. Get context-sensitive help - just click
on any mention of a Batch term (level of detail grows as you progress).
No paper, notes, or Lesson print-outs needed. You work wholly on-screen
from the start, and throughout. The interactive Introduction shows how.

Hi Dan,
I thought you might be interested in this site. William is a
very good batch programmer. Some of the more advanced ones you are
not going to understand at all ;-). I have not checked out the
site myself but I have seen his post in the alt.msdos.batch
newsgroup.
Later,
Charles
