Why does this surprise you?  The American people are told
they're consumer, in all that "consumer" implies.  They
don't produce anything, they're consumers.  They've heard
themselves referred to as consumers, and been confused with
bs so that all they know is that unless they're following
the crowd they're not worthwhile human beings anymore.  Be a good consumer,
buy more crap you can't afford, pay or
promise to pay for it later.  Tell your innermost secrets on myspace and
watch other people make idiots of themselves on
American IDol or so-called reality television, but just buy
more shit will ya?
They don't want to think about who might have their medical
records, their credit data, etc.  "I got nothing to hide ... " is
the mantra.  OF course you don't, you have whatever
every other fool has, a radio telephone that can be easily
monitored by authorities that lets the poor guy on the other end hear half
what you say to him and every time you gas up
you give your money for the product to people who hate you.
AT least, you're told the majority of them hate you.

OF course we are, it's packaged along with the drugs for all the medical
conditions we're told we have by the voiceover
on the six o'clock news that says " if you have .... see
your doctor and tell him that you want him to prescribe .... "  Be
scared, whatever you do, be very afraid, but dammit go to the mall on your
day off.  Wal Mart's open 24 hours for
your convenience.
Go home from Wal Mart and hide out in your bunker, you've
got plenty of toys to play with.  Siddown and shuddup, just
be scared and hide in your bunker.
