Hello Jean -

I had been using BW for quite some time when Y2K rolled around.
After installing 'the patch' I began having problems and I
_think_ the patch was modified. I installed the new patch and
continued having problems.

When I tried to discuss these problems BW users went ballistic.
I guess the fantasy that everything was "OK" was too important
to allow a little thing like "It doesn't always work" to get in
the way?

I had worked out the sequence that was causing the problems but
no one wanted to accept reality and it's been so long ago now
that I really don't remember much about BW and it's patch
files. :-\
