subject: Reported speed

LB> Bill, i have been having a problem with my modem reporting the DTE speed

 LB> which was 19200/ARQ weather it commected to a 300 or a 38400

LB> i fixed this by changng the Init string slightly, i forget the exact

LB> command now but it now reports the line speed i.e. carrier 14400

LB> i re-set the connect string in my comm program from connect to carrier

LB> i can get the modem to connect and report the correc speed but telix

LB> dosent recognise any connect string other that connect/carrier below

LB> 9600 or above 19200, it does not accept connect at 14400, do you know if

 LB>

LB> there is a command to tell the modem to not send back a 14400 connect

LB> string ? if not is the newer version of telix (i have 3.15) that will

 LB> connect at 14400 ?

Telix 3.15 was not designed for 14400-33600 bps modems

Get Telix 3.22
