Ed,

EV>I saw a message from You in Classical Computing talking about getting
EV>the TRS-80 Model I out.

I actually started computing on a Radio Shack TRS-80 MC-10 Micro Color
Computer, with a TV as the monitor, and a cassette player for loading
and saving programs. I even had a 300 baud modem, that I used to access
CompuServe with...and was with them for a long time.

The next computer I had was a Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 100 laptop, and
actually started my BBS on that one. Ironically, the programs for both
of those are in the files area on my BBS, but I forget the name of the
file offhand.

In 1992, a co-worker of my brothers, who worked at an area hospital,
got me an 8088 XT...they were getting rid of their old computers...and
that was the birthplace of The Thunderbolt BBS.

There is a lengthy history file on the BBS...I think the name is
TBHISTRY.ZIP -- lots of information, on my "Sysop odyssey"...with
hardware, software, and OS's.
