     I don't believe we'll actually see impeachment proceedings.  With
an atmosphere present that many people seem to feel some groups have a
vendetta going against Clinton, conservatives in Congress will be
reluctant to pursue such charges unless the evidence is indisputable
and impeachment is the clear result of the proceedings.  If the
evidence, as it appears now it will be, becomes indisputable, I thinl
Clinton will simply resign under pressure from his own supporters.
     We have to keep one thing in mind.  He is holding support from his
own camp only because he is adamently refusing to admit culpability. 
He has told his staff and supporters that the allegations are totally
untrue.  If, as I suspect it will, it turns out he is lying to them and
they suddenly realize they've been had, he's going to lose everything
all at once.  At best he will have a half dozen hard core advisors left
who are as tied up in the scandal as he is.  The remainder, like
Panetta, will demand his head on a platter.
     I really believe at that point he will have no choice left but to
resign and impeachment will never become a necessity.
