I am required in my job to work in neighboring states of Kentucky and
ndiana.
I always take my scanner with me but never have I been harassed by law
enforcement. Does the fact that I have a volunteer fire dept. sticker in the
window have anything to do with it? I have been asked to turn it off once
here
in my home state of Ohio when I was pulled over by a State Patrol when he was
running my licence info. I told him that I didn't even have their frequencies
programed in, because " Your radio traffic is at most times boring and I
usually get the jump on my fire dept. pager through the county sheriff radio
traffic". Still he asked me nicely so I did. I got out of the ticket, so it
wasn't all that bad.
Has any one else had similar experiences?
