From: "Ron Newman" To: Reply-To: "Ron Newman" I agree with that as well. I cut my truss poles to within .001" in lenght and try and position the connecters to the same tolerance. I use Delrin truss pole couplers to provide a means of breaking down truss poles as well. If the couplers are done correctly you can repeat setup and keep collimation changes to a minimum, but recollimation is wise after set up no matter how good the system is.
