The Fed's history for the last 30 or 40 years has been holding
down wages by increasing interest rates everytime the economy
gets going good. That's why the 1970s saw the peak in hourly
wages, and they have been below that peak ever since.
The Fed keeps some people unemployed and poor to keep the rest
from getting the wages they could get in a stable prosperity.
