It was my opinion then (and now) that Amway is a thinly BA> disguised pyramid scheme; but I have to note that it has survived BA> serveral lawsuits accusing it of exactly that, so apparently under the BA> law it isn't. The thing that separates Amway (and Holiday Magic cosmetics) from pyramid schemes is that they actually deliver (pretty good) product to their sales people and customers. But, the secret to all such plans is to get in before the saturation point is reached. We have/had a storefront AmWay dealer here in Spring-A-Leak, IL. They did a fair amount of business with the expense of one "clerk" who also was the shipping and receiving person for someone fairly high up the AmWay food chain (some sort of super-distributor). BA> FWIW in more than 30 years I have not seen an Amway rep or any Amway BA> products. The biggie around here that cost many their businesses and the shirts off their backs was Herbal Life. I still see and can get AmWay ... I use their borax/phosphate-free laundry detergent - because I used to have a gray water system for watering my garden. And because it was really good stuff. I no longer have the garden - but, I still use their product. Simply because it works and is co$t effective. ENJOY!!! From Uncle Dirty Dave's Kitchen Home of YAHOOOOAHHHH Hot Sauce & Hardin Cider ...
