From: "Mark"

Yea, the practice doesn't surprise nor offend me, in fact, 30 years ago I
went to make a cash deposit of $2K on a Saturday morning at the bank's
drive thru. They double checked the bills and looked at me suspiciously,
that long ago $2K was a lot more than today, so I volunteered that it was
straight out of the parimutual windows at the track the night before and
they relaxed.

Anyway, I'm sure some of the story is true, but got twisted up by the
reporter. For example a college co-ed was murdered in NYC last week, as it
turned out former VP candidate Geraldine Ferraro owns a building that may
be the murder scene.

She was on Fox and the Fox host read a passage from one of the newspapers
about a secret entrance to the building and wanted to know why she has a
secret entrance She says, there's no *secret* entrance, there's
back door that no one uses, but has a breaker bar for emergency exit. And
goes on to say she gave the police full warrantless access to help them
solve the case faster.

I guess it makes the story read more interesting with *secret* doors.
