OF course, but although the original was referring to SArah
and her daughter, I was referring in more general terms to
those who do not believe that education is part of the
solution, they want abstinence only education.
YOu and I both know as soon as the kid pops out the other
end of the puberty chute that the horn's sound off and
there's not a damned thing we can do about it. WE can tell
'em "wait until ... " all day long, but when it's time to
rock 'n roll and the hormones are raging they're gonna do
whatever the heck they want to anyway. tOmorrow morning it
might be "oh no, what did I do last night ... " but tonight
it's happening.
Abstinence may be preferred, and should be, but anybody with a few brains
cells to rub together knows it ain't gonna
happen that way. wHether than abortions and morning after
pills better to have the kids carrying a packet of trojans
imho, more cost effective, and less risky.

THis is an intelligent approach imho.
EC> But some people just cannot see past party affiliation.
Has nothing to do with party affiliation with me on this
issue. Imho a lot of the loudest voices in the debate on
this subject are those who would not educate young people
properly. ABstinence only, like the rhythm method, does not work.
