If the birth parents or children do not want to be found they have every 
right to their privacy. They should be allowed to shut off any avenue that 
might lead to them. An adoptee's quest may be an all-consuming passion to 
him/her but this does not give him/her the right to invade others lives. I am 
an adoptee by the way so don't say "Oh you don't know what it's like.". I've 
not had any real need to uncover some secret identity that I might have. I 
know who I am. If I did need to search out my birth parents I would like to 
think that they might want me to find them and it would be an amiable 
situation. If it was obvious they had covered their tracks I would know that 
they didn't want me to find them and leave it at that.
Don't get me wrong, I am very happy for those who have found each other and 
have something that now benefits both parties.
