As I just told Darryl in another message, the one time I was in that
situation I could not move up and out of the way because I could not see
whether or not there was no traffic.  Out in the suburbs it is one thing
but in a lot of downtown areas, there is no sightline for what might be
coming until it has entered the intersection.
