Not so in Melbourne :-) thankfully, though we are still waiting for extra lines
in Melbourne which causes a cut of after 3 hours at times. I have not
experienced much busy signals and the transfer speed is fine (up to 4kbps at
times) Where the service seems to fall down is in too much lag to play online
games with fussy speed freaks :-)

The Australian direct connection was not too hot either as Ihug generally sent
all inbound and outbound transmissions to the USA first. Which meant to access
a site in Australia instead of say 5-6 hops you would include up to 10 more
hops as US sites would be included in it. Just recently though Ihug has
addressed this buy connecting, adding (whatever) to other sites and proxies in
Australia.

Probably the main reason I do not hit too many speed or busy signal problems is
because I do my online stuff between 4am and 4pm missing the peak times. In
peak times it would always be a shit fight :-)

That's not bad :-) I could never get through the night when I tried it. i sould
give it another go as I have recently discovered Explorer seems to really crap
out if you try to either Scandisk or Defrag while online :-)
