Yes.. they *told* us what lead up to it. But seeing how it may
have happened with a lead-up (in a dramatization, perhaps) could
have helped.
I remember getting behind the wheel for the first time and NOT
ever thinking of those old films. But years later when movies
depicted certain scenarios, *then* those scenes played back in my
mind.
