That was my 1970 Firebird, which you needed to kneel down to put the
nozzle in the tank. When I started the pump, I still had my head close to
the gas tank...never again.

Heh! If you think that's bad, GM, Ford and Chrysler used to make their
brake lines out of the same ferrous metal. If you see a rusted out clunker
going down the road, then chances are the brake lines are just as rusty.
