So calling Trev's Viper with your Supra results in a 3429 symbol rate
connect, but until Trev puts a Courier on line, there's still no hard
evidence that the problem is USR's.  Perhaps it's something to do with the
fact that whilst the Courier used to be overly aggressive with its initial
link rate, USR appear to have done a minor about-face, and they now tend to
connect a tad lower, then speed-shift upwards if conditions permit?
