Hello Jean -

CA>> I know I'm raining on your parade here

JP> Better than ants at my picnic.

CA>> But your 'prevention' relies on a misconfigured BBS fixing
CA>> dates it is not supposed to be fixing.

JP> I think that you have me mixed up with Dan, he has the date
JP> problem, not I.

A BBS somewhere out there is fixing your dates for you. We know
it's not 'send your contributions in' good'ole boy Coon that is
doing it at his BBS since you can read back your 19xx dates
after uploading the REP packet. Dan is using conversion from
JAM format to bypass the problem and use native BW format.

CA>> If this BBS reconfigures to FIDO echomail standards your
CA>> 'prevention' is smoke and mirrors.

JP> Nope, only strings. ;-)

ALL of your reply messages would be purged from FIDO and cease
to exist in this time/space continuum.
