I found that the standard serial.device didn't do enough for me.  So I
changed.  First BaudBandit, then V34serial.  The latter doesn't require
registering... 8)

NComm 2 used to crash only when I use the QuickFix patch for BaudBandit
14b.  I use NC3 now and don't need the patch anymore.

Don't forget to set ZModem Resume on.  You can always pick up where you
left off.  Very handy.
