Hi, Roger -- Good to hear from you!
RC> . . . I was moving Xerox cases of paper at work and really messed
RC>up my lower back.
Sounds like an event which has the potential to get a suit hand-
delivered to Armonk, heh?
RC> . . . I'm quite nervious about the results actually . . .
No sweat, I bet: Just a squoze disc which, with proper care and
feeding, should have you back in action by year's end. That's my
sight unseen diagnosis, and I'm stickin' widdit.
RC> Worst case would be that I have to take disability retirement (at
RC> the old age of 47, Uhg! That's too young in my mind folks!!)
Don't even speak the words, me lad! Just don't let 'em give you a
myelogram under any conditions, excuses, subterfuges, rationales or
"professional" oaths.
By the time you get this, yer MD will probably have decided what to do
wid ya. If it sounds very serious, please get AT LEAST one more
"opinion" and preferably two -- from MDs who don't know each other.
All best wishes, Roger. Take care and let us know how its going, eh?
TTYL, Wm. of Hopefulness
