Hello again Fidonet,

Ugh, it's that time of year again isn't it? Can you smell it? Yeah it's
here-election time.

Can't motivate one single iota of optimism over this election. The dancing
duet we call the Liberals and "Conservatives" (really, the CRAP party) just
look like flipsides of the same coin to me right now.

Oh well. What bothers me most is the way the Canadian voter works.
Reactionary. Canadians vote against that which pisses them off the most.
No history, no "learning what the issues are", no trying to see what the
people they are voting for are REALLY about--just reactionary, spur of the
moment anger.

Look at Ontario. Oh yeah we were angry at Peterson, the bloody Mulroney
lickspittle. Who's on the opposite side of the fence? VOTE FOR HIM! Enter
Rae. 4 years later: "Oh that incompetant Rae! Let's vote for the
opposite...HARRIS!" And so it goes, over and over again. We Canadians only
vote against the ones pissing us off at that very moment. And we're about to
do it again.

My election plans? Throw my vote at a candidate that has no chance of winning
(he's not one of the "big two"), get drunk, and watch the whole
house of cards
fall down.

Thank you, and good night!

   Sleep, now.
