-> I think I understand what you mean when you say "mistaken". Nothing was
found.
-> However, I guess the searches can be quite complete which causes the major
-> damage. In a way, I can understand. They have to search the most
imaginative
-> places. Drug runners are desperate and creative people. It's just a
hame
-> that honest people have to be detained and subject to these high seas
searches,
-> which can cause so much damage and cost and trauma.
All i can tell you here is that blaming the U.S. Coast Guard is not
the way to go. Since they are doing their job. It's all the other
stuff going on, which is drug smuggling and who knows what else. That
is pretty much the reason for the Coast Guard to do these searches when
they feel they have to. So don't blame them, just blame the way the
world is that is creating more pains for the average american in life.
Also i learned from a recent boating magazine i got through the mail of
technology slowly find new ways to search boats. One way is x raying
the entire boat and searching it for drugs and stuff. But they say they
have to take the boat into shore and place it in some sort of building
which is really a large x ray machine. And no one can be on the boat
during the time they x ray the boat. Another new method that i read in
the article in the magazine with technology. Is you know how people
look for things in the ground with dogs or detetcion devices? They
coming up with some new type of devices that would make the Coast Guard
come onto your ship and just scan around with the dog or detection
device until they find that your ship is clean. Taking less time and
less damage to the boat.
