subject: Help with Build!

|-----------------| Regarding Help with Build!
|Unfortunately, no matter what I set the Video mode to in BSetup, I can't g
|the 3d section of the editor to work...
|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Please be aware that we do not offer support on Build. Build is provided
very much "as is", and the only documentation/help we offer is the
buildhlp.exe file that is in your Build directory.
Did you move the Build files into the Duke Nukem 3D game directory? If you
didn't, then this is why the 3D mode is not working. This is also required
for the art editor, Editart.
Take care on how you copy the files, too. If you use something like Windows
File Manager, it will also copy the file attributes, which on a CD-ROM will
be read only. If you do this, you'll run into further problems. Copy them
in DOS, or reset the attributes after you copy them.
Do this, and all will be OK. Let me also add that we do not offer support
for Build beyond getting it running.
You may wish to visit our official Duke Nukem 3D Home page on the WWW at
http://www.3drealms.com/duke3d.html. This has over 50 user created Duke
Nukem 3D pages (at last count), and more are always popping up. They have
user made levels, and I've seen a few that have tutorials on how to do
various things in Build.
