Yeah...it always seemed like I was on foot every New Year's Eve for quite
a few years too. That was before I had two cars and kept one in the garage
for just such occasions on Dec 31...

Dunno about that. My dad (mechanic) had an ear for peculiar sounds that
indicated trouble down the road. Thing is, he ignored his own cars and
only worked on those on the side of the road. I can't really fault him for
that because, as a machinist having some tools and equipment in the
garage, I never machined anything after work or on weekends...

That still sounds strange to me. Too bad you didn't keep that radiator and
