Anybody that buys into this crap deserves the life of crushing guilt they
get.  These people have been hoodwinking peasants for years, from phony
relics of saints, to the Virgin Mary's mugshot in a highway underpass, to
killing people to save their souls, to hall passes in Purgatory, to
apparitions that conveniently support some new theological fantasy, to
bleeding statues... well... it's all stage- managed by men who are
functional eunuchs.  Do they put saltpeter in their cereal?  You think the
encyclopedia salesman twisted your arm? Wait 'til one of these people get
their mitts on you!  Hard sell don't even cut it.  Yeah, I know these
Catholic schoolgirls turn on the pimply crowd, but somehow I think I can do
without a lifetime of thermometers.  It'll be real difficult, but I think
I'll make it.
