>>> Clarence Hogan on Universal Chit Chat
WE> The above mathematicians weren't speculating, they were proving
WE> theorems, theorems about statements that can be neither proven nor
WE> disproved and sets of numbers impossible to compute.
CH> Six of one and half a dozen of the other, right?
WE> Nope, damned if you do and damned if you don't.
Bout covers it I reckon! Tiz a no win situation! :'(
CH> Hummmmm, who needs the blueprint, when they have the thing itself to
CH> go by, for if we were able to create a universe, could we not also be
CH> able to take our own exact measurement of the one we have to
CH> duplicate it by and not need the complete blueprints, measurements and
CH> all?
WE> Uncertain principle prevents exact measurements.
Not with a variable rule it doesn't!
CH> Why must you insist on throwing people into the equation of the
CH> universe?
WE> Hm, don't know of any universes without people, do you?
Haven't been to the anti-matter universe yet to see, but will
one day and let you know if there are anti-people there!
CH> There are no
CH> requirements in/of the universe that there has to be life as we
CH> know it within it, now is there?
WE> Ain't nobody that'll require nothin' of no dang universe now is there?
Yup, there is somebody that is the only somebody that has requirements
of the universe and everything in it!
CH> man is in the universe, right?
WE> What man? Mark Twain? Men, women and various other unrequired
WE> animates are all there.
The small pile of dust that was made into what we call man, viz.,
this fleshly body! Correct, and did not the universe exist prior
to them being made of the dust of the ground? If so, how then did
the universe manage to survive/exist prior to their formations?
WE> You understand the mere mote of human existence. You have no
WE> experience with any other universes. Your conjecture is unfounded.
CH> Could possibly be, however, did they not say the same thing of the
CH> Wright brothers, A. G. Bell, and many others, so I guess I am in
CH> fairly good company! :)
WE> Indeed you are in the good company of them and thousands of atheists
WE> of whom the same has been said.
Who shall deliver me from this body of death?
WE> Hindu mythology
WE> declares that the god Vishnu sleeping upon the ocean of existence
WE> dreams of innumerable Brahmas each creating his own universe.
CH> have in the past, read of this mythology and is somewhat of the
CH> nature that I was speaking of above, is it not?
WE> What? You are not a man dreaming of a butterfly but the butterfly
WE> dreaming that you are a man?
What? Beats me, it seems to have flew the coop! :) Does a butterfly
know the difference between a man and a tree, or is a man just another
tree for the butterfly to land on to rest or seek food?
CH> ... You could never convince a fish that the world wasn't all water!
WE> Yes I could but it wouldn't live to tell about it.
Possibly not, but the fish would probably think that the water was
just too thin at the height you had taken him cause he could no
longer breath, and with his dying breath he would yell at his
friends below in the water not to jump too high without their
water space suit on, right?
Just another humble servant of The Kingdom.......clarence.......
... Some things have to be believed to be seen!
