Sorry...i got a call replying to this message so here is the rest of my 
ply.
I don't think that the internet is ALL warez, just the stupid IRC channels 
(something else to get addicted to), and the newsgroups..Now, what makes me 
mad is that a lot of the WWW is PORN! Porn and warez, what a great 
combination! In total of the so called "elite" sites out there they are 30 % 
warez/porn, 50 % psuedo hacking and a mere 20 % REAL hacking! By psuedo 
hacking I mean like that AOHell garbage that might as well be considerd 
warez....whats the "hacking" part, just click a few buttons and thats it!
This is my kind of manifesto (like the UNAbomber!)....
I think that all illegal trading/sharing of commercial software is not only 
stupid, pointless and un-ethical, it gives a bad name to REAL hackers and 
cool people! The cops or fbi or nsa isn't going to take away you're computer 
if you are just a little warez punk who surfs the channels looking for new 
warez, but the second you join a "group" forget about it.....Strength in 
numbers. Law authorities have more strength the more warez dorks they catch. 
Don't even try to make excuses "Bill Gates sucks and is richer than me so I 
steal his companies crap!" or "It won't hurt this HUGE company!" that is 
total BS!!! Every time something is not paid for, in retrospect, someone 
probably loses thier job or something evil happens to that particular 
company...companies aren't bad, they're just trying to do what capitalism has 
forced them into...make money. Warez actually is a distant relic of 
capitalism, as the more possesions you have in the warez world, the cooler 
and more important you are...If things had gone otherwise, nothing would be 
like the world of 1997 we see today, look for my letter to 2600 about this 
for further details....
A lot of stuff sucks.
IRC is the WORST thing that ever happened....i don't even think this needs an 
explanation, luckily I have only HAD TO use it 4 times in my life, and all of 
them were in the #UNiX..pornagraphy sucks...it's just an replacement for a 
real relationship and i would like to kill every punk sitting in front of 
thier computer right now with a huge hard-on!!!! It's gotten me into more 
trouble than you could EVER CONTEMPLATE!!! I say this for you're own HEALTH!!
Back in the day....
Back in the 80's, Pirating was for the sole purpouse of seeing if you could 
reverse engineer the coding, usually Error 23...that is not the way today..

Although I say warez is a worthless waste of muscle it takes to type...I 
personally would NEVER "bust" a sysop of a warez BBS, however I WOULD try 
with all my might to take down that f-ing board, reroute the line to some 
pakistanee grocery store, bring it down HARD!!! Let's take for example....if 
someone stopped a bank robber, but shot him with an unlicsened gun, who do 
you think they would feel more sympathetic about?????
Real Hacking
I describe the term REAL HACKING much in the above text...when I say REAL 
HACKING i am referring to any dedicated programmer who works in network 
setups, etc. anyone who explores various systems without doing any harm, 
anyone who experiments with phones and challenges the stupidity of the fone 
company, or any person interested in electronics, radio or ANSI 
artwork....what I mean psuedo-hacking, im talking about credit fraud and just 
being in it for a few free phone calls.....
Final Thoughts...
Why do people do it??? I don't know, I know I once did...and still don't know 
WHY! I can be patient with pirates but i choose not to...thankfully, people 
were not patient with me, and I can't thank them enough for it.
By the way....Aaron...I've been modemless for a year, all my true hacking 
bbses are gone, know of any new ones in 516???? There like the only places 
you can post messages and get a quick response...it's sad that so much 
happened in 516...2600 Magazine, a few important elements in the formation of 
LoD, the whole MoD thing...just so much, and now all the more recent BBS's 
are gone (In Bloom, Route 666, Dead Pig, Ultra Sonic)...
