MR> Recently with the newer java script editors for synchronet, I find

 MR> Kinda like this.
MR> together, whenused as a quotein a reply. Kindalike this.

that's because they forgot to inject a space when they brought the lines together ;)

MR> And You are right Carol. Things are getting a bit sloppy out there
MR> with the editors. You as well as I may remember this, it must be
MR> something that is tough to work with and may cause problems.
MR> Remember when Tim Strike fixed this in Telegard? There was actually
MR> an option in system setup where You could choose to have the
MR> regular quote or the one that fixed the chainsaw effect. Not being
MR> a programmer, I don't know what it involves, but it may be
MR> difficult to fix or they just don't understand what some are
MR> talking about when it is reported.

the biggest thing that i see is an apparent lack of testing... i mean real
local testing by the author and then testing by a trusted beta team
/before/ allowing the software out into the world to be used by everyone
else... way way way too many coders release alpha quality software to the
masses... many just get it working and out the door it goes... they may
then start adding features and never go back to test it and fix the bugs...
only later will they try to go back but by then there's too much other
stuff layered on top that finding the bugs is a tough battle...
