The truth is, Sean has been looking for an excuse to leave Fidonet for
quite some time now. He almost quit when Dale Ross was removing some of his
gated usenet messages from the mail stream. He almost quit again when a
mailing list he was gating to Fidonet got spammed. More recently, he was
talking about quitting when he suffered his house fire.

I put little stock in what Ward Dossche claims these days. In time, and if
I want to, I'll get the story directly from Sean himself. I still work
closely with him in two other nets.
