Any thoughts on this? the first thing to understand, which you might already know and that many do not, is that java and javascript are two different things and don't have anything to do with each other... javascript is actually ECMAscript... java is a whole different beast... SUN used to handle java but now Oracle owns it... looking at their site, since XP support was discontinued, java on XP is also no longer supported... apparently the last java that ran on XP was java 7 which users can still run at their own risk but no support will be given for XP and older... java 8 update 45 is the latest but only for vista and up winwhatever variants, Mac OS X, Linux and 64bit Solaris and Solaris SPARC... Which has not interceded on MikeL> any of this issue at this point. check your panda settings and see if it is silently blocking that script or site... i don't use panda and certainly none of anyone's global protection firewall, filters, scanners... i much prefer to use my own choices and get multiple opinions about questionable files and sites if/when i run into them but that's not very often for me and the stuff i'm interested in ;) MikeL> Any thoughts on this? i dunno? )\/(ark* Origin: (1:3634/12) SEEN-BY: 109/500 116/116 123/5 52 57 140 400 500 789 124/25 5013 5014 129/215 SEEN-BY: 140/1 154/0 10 701 702 203/0 226/600 227/101 201 229/310 426 230/0 SEEN-BY: 249/303 261/38 1466 280/464 5003 292/854 320/119 322/759 342/11 806 SEEN-BY: 633/267 280 640/384 712/620 848 770/1 3634/12 22 24 27 50 @PATH: 3634/12 123/500 154/10 280/464 712/848 633/267 |
