        I think I have found what you need to change...  Go to Qmodem
Setup - CONFIG/DEVICE/Term Cmds and you will see a window which displays
all the Terminal Commands etc.  One of them is Connect Msg.  This should
contain CONNECT with NO baud rate following it.  The book says if you
specify an number and you connect at a different rate, the system won't
recognize the Connect.  Check this out....
