Don't tell me ANY company will lower prices just because more people are
buying the stuff. In general, they can sell so many copies of Doom, Quake,
and other popular games, that they evindently make huge profits, and they
ell
the software on the price that brings the most profit, not on the one that
he
users would like.

The company is supposed to write programs that people are willing to buy. I
don't think much people are willing to pay for another boring average DOOM
clone, they just use the shareware version, play it for a couple of days and
delete the whole thing. If a company has a brilliant new idea out of which
they can make a superb exciting brand new game (not a clone) they will be
ble
to make profit. if they can only make average games - well don't be suprised
if noone will buy them.
Regards.
