He means if you have FIDOSOFT.HUSKY set at 500 messages in your config and
there is 500 messages this is what MsgEd will show. If 10 new messages come
in then your FIDOSOFT.HUSKY now contains 510 messages but MsgEd only still
shows the original 500 until you run maintainance and kill/pack the echoarea
removing the oldest messages so that only 500 appear on the echo again.
