In order for me to force mail out immediately once I post a message, I had to
set AutoMate up to monitor a particular directory for "new
files". Seconds
after a new file is added to that directory, I have my batch file run that
kicks off my network mail tossing, including WWIVTOSS, which then writes it to
D'Bridge's directory for it to go out immediate.

My messages are sent out within a minute of me posting them using this method.
I would have to send them out on a schedule if I didn't have something to
"monitor" a directory like that.
