Quite simple. The software companies say, that if they could sell the stuff
to twice as many people, they would sell it cheaper. This, of course, is not
self evident, because if they can sell it to twice as many people on the same
price, they won't lower prices. But if they lowered prices now (without
condition) they would get more people buying, the question is, would it worth
it ?
