Sean... SD>That's great! I have a pressure meter here, but I haven't checked it in >ages... I should. I'm wanting to get a newer meter that I can plug into the >computer to help me graph my readings, but I'm not making enough to do so ye As you know, my wife Janice, who is a type 1 diabetic...recently obtained a copy of the One Touch Software from Lifescan (I think it's www.lifescan.org -- not sure)...and she uses that to store her readings. The thing is...the software is like 30 Megabytes, and you either have to obtain it via a high speed Internet connection, or have a friend do it, and burn a CD for you. You could purchase it, and purchase either a serial or USB cable required for it, depending on your setup...the software is more expensive than the cable!! But, the program is relatively easy to work with once it is set up. SD>I doubt it... doc said even if I dropped the weight right now and got off th >pills, I'd still have diabetes... *sigh* But hey, it looks like the advice >working... my friend has Type 2 and just controls it w/diet and exercise. S >I can do it too. I'd be more likely to get Type 2, if I got it. My main problems are with hyperlipidemia, G.E.R.D., and irritable bowel syndrome right now. The thing is...the wife can eat anything that won't eat her first...she just takes extra insulin to compensate, if needed. With my digestive issues, there are several things I can't eat anymore.
