G>-> I just read a few Short Stories from the collection entitled
G>-> _Skeleton Crew_ and I must say they were really bad. I mean really
G>-> really bad. They're the first works of King's I've read, and I hope
G>-> they don't reflect his overall quality and style. Ok. Bye
G>I really liked _Skeleton Crew_. There are, of course, a few stories
G>that I didn't care for, but how can you dismiss "The Mist," "The Jaunt,"
G>"Word Processor of the Gods," and "Survivor Type" as "really really
G>bad." How about giving us tangible reasons for your intense dislike of
G>the stoies?
Well, IMO *Skeleton Crew* isn't his best work - that I would consider to
be *Night Shift*. But what I think we're dealing with here is simply a
dislike of King. Some people just don't like certain writers; for
instance, while I love Ernest Hemingway, others can't see what I'm so
excited about.
This is an old message, and you may have seen my reply to it - a reply
to which there's never been a response. I think this may have been a
drive-by poster.
