Hey Bruce,
        Looks like a great plan! I had a plastic pod with a wooden core once. 
The plastic degraded so I just used the wood and modified it a bit to fit the 
wing. It worked great until a couple of weekends ago. The wood had become 
soaked with fuel and softened things up a bit until it just fell apart after 
a stalled landing. I've seen the SIG and have thought about buying it. I'm 
going to my local hobby store with paper and pencil to sketch it out. That 
will probably go over real well. While there I'm going to buy the wood and 
try your plans. Thanx again.
