Sigh, I don't disagree in general, at least going forward. But, even as an
evil Republican, I'm pretty incensed at these companies (GM, etc.) that
want to change the rules after the fact. I mean, hell, if I worked from 18
to 65, building Chevy's and they promised this and that, then when I'm 70
and 5 years retired they want to stick it to me, I'm going to be pissed.

Basically, what they're trying to pull now is a backdoor entry into
socialism that will ultimately be embraced by the government. i.e. "we
can't pay, please (or rather, you must)bail us out Uncle Sam and take
responsibility for our debt to our employees" and down the road to
ruin we go.
