Hello Dan -

DC>> It takes time to fix any bug. Those most effected by it
DC>> are the ones that solve their particular problems.

CA>> I have no idea what the above two sentences have to do
CA>> with Dale's 'fix'?

DC> He liked the program and worked out of ulterior motives,
DC> sans compensation, to fix the situation.

Countless numbers of computer users have worked 'sans
compensation' to fix situations. The situation we had been
discussing has also been 'fixed' by BBS that correct grunged
dats in messages but the 'fix' also invalidates any attempt to
stop resending of old messages which does happen now and then.

DC>> As to my setup, I've never had to use the REPfix and I'm
DC>> running 2.12

CA>> While that may be a source of great pride in the 'Ceppa'
CA>> household, it is also giving the wrong impression to
CA>> anyone reading this that BW v2.12 will also work for them.
CA>> It won't.

DC> I never said it would and could. That's one of the reasons
DC> I continue to post here.

As written you statement re:2.12 gives the impression it does
not need a 'fix'. This is not correct.

DC> I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need a change or
DC> even Dale's FIX.

DC> As it stands, Jean has found his personal solution that
DC> works for him.

DC> Making software work for you is the bottom line.

"Works for me" is what we used to call a 'flip' answer and is
comparable to "I've got mine, now you get yours".
