I REALIZE that, William... but why MUST time have a beginning?

ITEM #1:
Time and space are bound to each other.
Now, does space END some place (ie. if one travels in one direction long
enough, is there a point at which one can no longer travel in that
direction)? Theoretically, space is curved so that when one does travel
in one direction one will eventually end up where one started. Using
this logic one can say that space does not "end" anywhere nor does space
"begin" anywhere. So, considering "ITEM #1" does time end or begin? Or
is time also (shall we say) "curved"? If so, if we live long enough
would we not end up at the point of one's own birth?
