Can anyone help explain this unexpected behaviour of a Combo Box ?
I needed to enlarge the font size of the edit box.  Really, I wanted the
edit window text to be enlarged, but the drop-down list to be normal size,
but it seems that the drop down list must have the same font size as the
edit window.
Normally, when activated, the list hangs down from the edit window, and
remains in place unitl you click the item you desire.  However, it seems
that when the font excedes a certain size, the bottom of the list will hit
(or come very close to) the bottom of the window.  At this point, the top of
the list detaches itself from the edit box, and attaches itself to the top
of the window.
What is really odd is that at this point, the list changes its behaviour.
If you release the left button, the list vanishes - in other words, the
mouse button behaviour changes from traditional Windows to the Macintosh
style.
Can anyone explain what is going on here, and is it documented anywhere ?
Also, is there any way to have the edit window show enlarged text but the
drop-down list box be normal sized ?
