Nope. The light-speed limit applies (in fact, has meaning) only
*within* space-time, and has nothing to say about inflation (or slower
subsequernt expansion) *of* space-time.

Lame analogy: iif I replace the Earth beneath your feet with Jupiter, you
will "weigh more," but you have not "gained weight."
